After the SNOWGOONS dropped 4 albums with more then 200 artists and more then 3 full produced projects like the recent REEF THE LOST CAUZE or M.O.P. album its about time to let the people know who the SNOWGOONS truly are!

In the late 90s, DET & DJ ILLEGAL founded the SNOWGOONS and started recording with local artists from Germany. A couple of years later, they got their first contact in the states; VIRTUOSO. From there on the contact net grew. The following 2 years, DET & ILLEGAL would record and produce the “German Lugers” album, which finally dropped over Babygrande Records in 2007.

Already in 2008, the next album “Black Snow” followed, and SICKNATURE jumped on “The Curse” joint. SICKNATURE is a producer and rapper out of Denmark and already made noise on his own with productions for ILL BILL and AOTP. Also featured on the “Black Snow” album was J.S. KUSTER with additional keys and sounds on more than 3 songs on the record. In 2009 “The Trojan Horse” featured another SICKNATURE verse as well some productions. The latest SNOWGOONS album “Kraftwerk” released in 2010, approved the GOONS in their collaboration.
During the summer 2011 the team decide to make it official and add SICKNATURE & J.S. KUSTER to the
GOONS cause it was just a natural move.

So how does it work when 4 different headz are working on a beat? Well, everybody in the crew got a special sound and bringing all these sounds together, creates this unique SNOWGOONS style. Since all 4 crew-members live in different cities, even different countries, the internet helps out a lot. But nevertheless, it is essential that the GOONS have sessions and personal meetings as much as possible.
